Hi! This was helpful, thank you! I"ll be going to this region in a few weeks, but I live in France and will be driving through Switzerland (first time there). As far as skipping the trains and driving straight to the gondola stations, is that a possible thing?

We recently returned from a 7 day Vacation in the Jungfrau Region. After watching dozens of your videos I was able to get the Half fare Travel Card and the Berner Oberland Pass, which turned our to be such a huge saving for us. It also allowed us to be very flexible with our itinerary and even change our plans on the fly, if needed. I felt more confident traveling and planning our destinations because I followed many of your advises from the videos. 7 Days was not nearly enough and we can not wait to return in a couple of years. Just come back from jungfrau and went to geissbach, trummelbach, reichenbach and stubbelbach and geissbach was the best falls IMO

Is one day trip enough for Lucerne ?

DON'T leave backpacks on the top shelf on any train. We were at stop in Cologne, Germany and a thief nonchalantly grabbed my wife's bag and walked off the train. Luckily I saw him and I had to jump off the train and grab it back, and I could've gotten stuck there if the doors had closed while I was off.

We watched all of your videos about the Jungfrau region after we booked our trip to Switzerland. Thank you so much for all of the great advice. We stayed in Wengen and we found that buying the SBB train tickets a-la-cart to and from Zurich plus the Jungfrau Travel Pass for the days in between, kept us entertained throughout the week. Keep up the great work.

We were nervous about travelling from the airport to the Jungfrau region, but after buying your guides, our concerns were alleviated. Your guide for using the SBB App was a game changer. We took several trains during our stay and the SBB app made everything easier. Thank you!

Thank you very much for your recommendation of berner oberland pass. I visited Switzerland from May 10th to 20th this year and the berner oberland pass combined with half fare card is worth every penny

Thank you so very much for the packing tips! I used your lists and I had everything I needed for our recent trip to Switzerland. I think I spent over a month agonizing over it, but when it was time to go, I knew what I was taking. This was our first overseas trip with just a carry-on and a backpack. I did take a packable backpack and it was amazing. Using it meant I did not have to unpack my regular backpack every time I wanted a small day pack. Love the packable backpack!! I am planning on gifting them to our kids, who love to travel as well as friends. Actually, I have also been using mine in the car so I have a few necessities. Did I mention that I love it!?! I also found the apps extremely helpful! Especially MeteoSwiss! We are headed to Scotland in a week and I am using the packing list again!

I am going to visit First on this 25 June 😊😊 I don’t know whether or not I should buy tickets online in advance? Can online tickets help me to skip the queue? I will come to First at around 14:30 so I am afraid that I may not have enough time to enjoy the trottibikes due to long queue, which makes me waste my money for the online ticket. In your opinion, under my circumstance should I buy online ticket in advance? Or I should buy ticket when I go down to Bort from First?

4:52 actually thats the emergency door opening, altough dont pull that either xD. Also some trains have green buttons that look like door openings, but are actually SOS alarms so watch out for that

hi, your videos are really useful. Thanks for creating them. I have a question regarding the swiss family card though. I am travelling with my 7 year old child. We plan to get the half fare card + tell pass + berner oberland pass. Do i need to get a tell pass for my child if i already have the swiss family card? I plan to visit mount titlis and mount pilatus during my visit to lucerne.

Been there last month (beginning of may) and went to harder kulm mid-afternoon and the lines were terrible. About an hour to go up and 45 min to go back down... I think going early in the morning as you recommended is a good idea.
